Vintage a bit complicated at first with a spring too cold and a rainy July. But, our hopes were fulfilled with a beautiful Indian summer that allowed a beautiful end of maturation of grapes and therefore very pretty wines.
Awakening of the senses: Intense ruby color. Nice basket of black fruits and wild black fruits, spicy notes with a larded tip. Attack concentrated, elegant tannins. Mid-palate with body. Final right and powerful enough. To be enjoyed on sunny dishes or tasty meats. Why not a casserole of pigeons or quail, potatoes larded with Espelette pepper as suggested by sommelier chef Christophe Menozzi.
