Lescaneaut 2005

2005, one of the greatest vintages of the century thanks to ideal conditions from May to the beginning of the harvest, with permanent sunshine without excess heat, very little rain and cool nights. The result was slow maturation and grapes in perfect sanitary condition.

Awakening of the senses: Deep garnet color. Nose of candied black fruits, cassis and cherry with a spicy note and a slight aroma of wood. The palate is round with soft and mellow tannins. The freshness of this wine is still exceptional! Elegant structure. To taste on duck or a tasty meat.

70% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc.

Mode de culture

Aucun pesticide. Engrais naturels. Taille en guyot double. Travail du sol sous les rangs en hiver et enherbement d'un fond sur deux l'été. Effeuillage.

Vinification 2005 :

Fermentations en cuves béton. Extraction douce avec maîtrise des températures. Cuvaison de 28 jours. Elevage de 50% en cuves béton ou inox et 50% en barriques de 500 L. Rendement de 41 hl/ha.
